With your consent, The City of Mesquite would like to send text (SMS) messages to the mobile number you have provided in our records.

By providing your informed consent where indicated, you acknowledge that you have understood the information below and agree to participate in our text (SMS) messaging service.

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Purpose and Description: The City of Mesquite’s text (SMS) messaging service is designed to provide you with helpful information, reminders, and notifications via text messages sent to your mobile phone. We may use text (SMS) messages to communicate with you for a variety of purposes, including:

  • announcements and reminders of upcoming events
  • reminders about membership renewal
  • sanitation payments
  • building permit applications

Example: "Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your sanitation payment for the City of Mesquite is past due. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time."

Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication. For example, you may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week related to your Sanitation payment etc.

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from The City of Mesquite in the following ways:
